TJCS Camping: Pricing and Details

Here you will find complete details of the 2024 TJCS Camping Adventure!


September 7th & 8th (Sat/Sun).
This will be a 1-night/2-day event .
The accommodations are very comfortable. You have a choice of tenting (bring your own tent) or comfortable bungalows with air conditioning which can be booked privately (for your group) or shared.

Registration deadline for Camp Canada is August 27th (Tue) at 11:00PM.

Camp Fees

TJCS members*: ￥4,000
Non-members: ￥5,000
Kids (5-12): ￥2,500
Kids (4 & under): FREE
*Spouses/partners of TJCS members may join at the member price.

Camp fees cover the cost of campground, dinner, breakfast, campfire, cooking fuel, transportation of equipment, etc.

Large Bungalow
Sleeps 8~10		 ￥15,000
Small Bungalow
Sleeps 4~6		 ￥9,000
Share a Bungalow
We will assign you		 ￥2,500
Tent Space
Bring your own tent		 ￥4,000
Parking ￥500

*These are flow-through prices paid to the campground.

Other Things!

You also need to bring...

  • your own drinks
  • snacks for between meals and the campfire
  • sleeping bag, pillow, blankets
  • cup, plate, utensils
  • cold showers are available 24 hours (for FREE)
  • hot showers also available 24 hours (¥300 for 3 minutes)
    Please bring ¥100 coins if you want to use shower room

Please note the following...

 

  1. Rain or Shine Event
    Other than a typhoon (or other major happening), this event will be held regardless of rain or other poor weather conditions.
  2. Though some equipment is available for rent (such as blankets and pillows), you might want to bring some of your own supplies. Bungalows have wooden flooring.
  3. Please bring your own utensils, cups, plates, and napkins since TJCS will not provide these items (for eco-purposes).
  4. TJCS will provide the ingredients for 1 dinner and 1 breakfast, but you have to bring your own drinks . A convenience store and other shops are located about 15 mins away.
  5. Campers are responsible for their own transportation to and from the campsite.
  6. Please prepare exact change
    After making your booking, we will confirm the total camp and accommodation fees for your group. We ask that you bring the exact amount of cash to the campsite.
  7. No Last-Minute Cancellations, Please
    Please understand that TJCS will reserve your cabin and plan the meal shopping based on your attendance. If you cancel suddenly, TJCS will be obligated to pay your fees to the campsite. Please don't cancel on us!

 

General Timeline

  • Day 1: Sep 7th (Sat)
    • start arriving around 1:00 pm
    • afternoon activities (swimming)
    • prepare dinner together
    • campfire after dark
  • Day 2: Sep 8th (Sun)
    • prepare breakfast together
    • go for a swim or a short hike (if there's time)
    • clean up and go home
    • check-out time is 11:00am
Between prepared activities, there will be lots of time for hiking, swimming and exploring!
