Hanami with Canadians in Kairaku Koen, Tsu City, Mie Prefecture
On April 5th, the TJCS held its annual Hanami event.
This year's event was held in Kairaku Park in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture.
We were blessed with nice weather and the cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
Although many of the 60 people who attended met each other for the first time at this event we all had a great time communicating in both English and Japanese. We could all expand on international exchange between our different cultures.
We, at the Tokai Japan Canada Society, would like to thank all of the people who attended this event, both members and non-members. If you are interested in TJCS please contact us through this website or engage with us on Facebook.
We are looking forward to boosting international exchange through the many events that are held by TJCS throughout the Tokai area.

The seminar attracted over 50 participants, primarily Japanese companies considering expanding into the Canadian market.

On February 2nd, the Tokai Japan Canada Society (TJCS) celebrated a significant milestone at the Courtyard by Marriott Nagoya: our 20th anniversary. Themed around the enchanting Northern Lights (better known as Aurora in Japan), this event was a celebration of our society's two decades of fostering Canada-Japan relations.

The TJCS will head to the mountains of Gifu for a Canadian Style Camping Adventure. This will be our 12th annual camping weekend, and it looks to be even better than ever as we return to our favourite campsite.
